Primrose School at Grand Park – Primrose Franchising Corporation
HWC provided civil engineering services for the site design of this childcare/preschool facility in Westfield, Indiana. The site covers approximately 1.7 acres located on the southwest corner of Wheeler Road and Grand Park Boulevard. The facility includes an 11,700 SF building, 45 parking spaces, and six playground areas. The facility has capacity for 184 students and 22 support staff.
The design is compliant with the City of Westfield and applicable State/Federal Standards. The project was built in 2020.

Kokomo, IN
Superior & Union Garage
This project included the redevelopment of a surface parking lot, located at 113 S. Union Street in Kokomo, Indiana on a 0.60-acre parcel. The redevelopment included a 22,000 SF multi-story parking garage with 195 parking spaces and 2,200 SF of retail space located on the first floor of the parking garage.
The project included public utility relocations, grading, drainage, utility infrastructure to the structure, and sidewalk grading to meet ADA requirements.

Muncie, IN
Hubler Automotive
HWC worked with Hubler Automotive to develop a site in Muncie, Indiana for a new automotive complex with multiple buildings. The site included a new Ford dealership, a new Hyundai dealership, and a Quicklane oil change and carwash. The site is part of a new 36-acre commercial subdivision that created three large lots. The development includes a new street, sewers, watermain, and stormwater detention pond.

Carmel, IN
Miller Auto Care
HWC worked with Miller Auto Care to relocate their previous downtown Carmel location to a new, larger site to help meet their business needs. The site maximizes the area to include an underground detention facility and suitable parking for the automotive business. The project faced challenges with the building and site location due to the overlay standards for Rangeline Road, however, HWC successfully met the needs and provided site maneuverability for the automotive business.

Whitestown, IN
Little League Central Regional Headquarters
Partnering with Odle McGuire Shook and Little League International, HWC completed the design and construction of a Little League Regional Headquarters in Whitestown, Indiana. This new facility hosts Little League Baseball Great Lakes and Midwest Region tournaments and Little League Softball Central Region tournaments.
Located between I-65 and Indianapolis Boulevard, the project included site design, building design (administration building, restrooms, concessions, and shade pavilion), field details and specifications, field soil specifications, grading and subsurface drainage, landscape, signage, lighting, and utilities. Unique elements which includes a “Walk of Champions” and central plaza area.
The master plan for the project included a total of 135 acres, which the Town acquired. It is home to new baseball and softball fields, office facilities, and potential for future growth of an ice arena, aquatic center, and amphitheater.
