Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan

In order to provide the quality of life amenities Whitestown’s growing population was seeking, town leaders proposed a bold vision to make the community one of the most walkable and bikeable communities in Indiana. In conjunction with the town’s thoroughfare plan update, HWC led the development of a Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan for Whitestown. The plan’s recommendations outlined a series of goals to develop greenways and trails linking key destinations and neighborhoods throughout the town. The plan also outlined strategies for local programming and regional advocacy roles for the Whitestown’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee.
