Comprehensive Plan

Due to its geographic location, the City of New Albany is effectively landlocked and faced limited future growth opportunities. Through the comprehensive planning process, HWC assisted the community in reevaluating development policies focused on how to best manage the development of remaining infill parcels. Since the completion of the plan, the city of New Albany has updated its zoning ordinance, acquired a former recycling factory that will be converted into a riverfront park, and partnered with private entities to launch key revitalization projects.
